HDPE Films

High density polyethylene film is a linear thermoplastic which has a more linear structure than Low density polyethylene. HDPE film is stiffer and harder than LDPE film.Tensile and bursting strengths are much better than LDPE ones, but impact and tear strengths are lower. It strength allows important savings as it is used in lower thickness from 12 microns (0.012 mm).

HDPE is also a good barrier to moisture.

High density polyethylene film is used in very different industrial sectors for a wide range of application as liner for paper sacks, wrapping film, FFS, bundling films among others.

VALY1 :

  • HDPE film for automatic packing.
  • This film has a high mechanical strength and can be use in very low thicknesses as 12 microns.
  • This plastic film is easily used on high speed machine
  • Corona treatment one or both sides
  • Available in SWS, CFS and LFT
  • width from 300 to 1500 mm
  • thickness from 12 to 70 microns

VALY 5 :

  • High density polythylene film
  • Reinforced strength
  • Very good performance on high speed equipment
  • Good sealing
  • Corona treatment one or both sides
  • Available in SWS, CFS and LFT
  • width from 300 to 1500 mm
  • thickness from 12 to 70 microns

LEYGAPRESS :

  • HDPE
  • Recommended for mailing newspapers and magazines.
  • Due to low thicknesses, allows great savings.
  • Corona treatment one or both sides
  • Available in SWS, CFS and LFT
  • width from 300 to 1500 mm
  • thickness from 12 to 70 microns
  • LFT : Lay Flat Tube. This is the basic product obtained by blown extrusion, a tubular film. At the end of the process, the plastic film is winded on a core and flattened.

  • CFS : Centre fold sheet. It is a lay flat tube cut (or opened) on one side.

  • SWS : Single wound sheet. This film is obtained when both edges of a lay flat tube (or tubular film) are cut. Each film is then winded on a core.
